This week I learned something important about time. We all have the same 24 hours within a day. No one gets a minute or even second more (if you’re on Earth). Our lifetimes may not be the same amount of time but each day is 24 hours long. Time is a precious resource, more than money because it can never be regenerated.
Time is a nonrenewable resource.
We’ve got to be careful as to how we spend our time. I spent a significant amount of time in my office working hard and a small amount of time with my friends this week. Time does slip through my fingers way too often. I ran into an old friend and each time we reunite it is as if there was no time had passed between us but I can tell that we’ve both gained more wisdom since our previous encounter.
My advice, start becoming a better time manager for yourself. Multi-task for example if you are going someplace listen to a pod cast, book you’ve wanted to read, or video. Don’t wait until you’re at the end and regret not reading that book you bought ten years ago.
Don’t spend time beating on a wall, hoping to transform it into a door.
