Poetry

A Poet’s Block

These poor words assembled,
together wishing to be
meaningful.

The uncapped pen unwilling awaits,
for the slow ink to be
scribed.

The tarnished pages crumble,
wanting to be repurposed into
stories.

A poet left unsatisfied
as words leave the mind,
blank.
