Dear Teacher(s)

Dear Teacher(s),

You spent countless hours
planning to ensure
my success.

With each failure
you worked harder
to improve me.

You gave me a belt of tools:
leadership, respect, techniques,
math, reading, and so much more.

We spent more time together
than I have with my family,
which lead to my success
in receiving my college degree.

You may be drained,
from long days,
your hard work
hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Without your dedication,
I wouldn’t be
as successful in life.

Dear teacher(s),
I raise my glass in your honor
for giving me more than you
are asked.
