Life / Life Poems

Tiger Stripes

There you adorn my skin
ever since I was 10.

I hated you.
You were there on my side
never fading away.

I ignored you.

As I grow older you
still reside on my skin,
letting me shame you.

Now we are indifferent,
I don’t mind sharing
you to the world.
